In this message, Apostle Hans Howard teaches that love is the foundation upon which true faith operates. Without love, even the greatest acts of faith lose their power and meaning. As 1 Corinthians 13:2 declares, faith without love is nothing.
God Himself is love, and anyone who does not love does not truly know God (1 John 4:8). Love is the proof of genuine Christianity. Many seek God for personal gain—prosperity, healing, or success—but forget the essence of the relationship: to love Him sincerely and serve others selflessly.
Apostle Hans warns that when love fades, faith weakens. Churches and believers today must return to their first love—a heart that seeks God, not His gifts. Like David, whose sacrificial love moved God to lift judgment from Israel, our love must be costly and sincere: “I will not offer to God what costs me nothing.”
He reminds believers that true love obeys, gives, forgives, and endures correction. The three Hebrew boys, motivated by love and loyalty to God, refused to bow to idols even under threat of death. Such unwavering devotion compels divine intervention and reveals the difference between fake religion and authentic relationship.
